Premier Anna Bligh claims she has a mandate to govern in her own right and she acknowledges that the central challenge, as we face the timeahead, is to protect jobs and ensure that we can ward off the humaneffects of the global financial crisis.

In launching whereareourjobs.com, I'm taking the challenge to Premier Bligh to deliver on her election promise of creating an extra 100,000 jobs over the next three years.
